Function

The QUADRANT PROtector is the first Underfloor Distributor with the patented automatic cable protection system “PROtector” for the cable outlet area (see video). Due to this the Underfloor Distributor QUADRANT Protector is also closed in the operating condition, so it is always vandal-proof.In the area of the cable outlet, the cable has been able to be damaged by exposure to persons or vehicles or even crushed. Persons or damage to the system could thus be caused.

This could only be avoided with an additional safety barrier, the liability to the operator remained. To avoid this, the critical cable exit area is naturally protected by the patented cable protection system “Protector” and is therefore also be driven over. The cable protection system “PROtector” made of stainless steel consists of a two-sided protection system. On one side of the “PROtector” protects with a shield the cable outlet area and the second side can cover the cable exit area with a lid

Application

The Underfloor Distributor QUADRANT PROtector is also in operation and the idle condition by the lid and the cable exit lid invisible. The cables and hoses are only routed through a cable outlet opening to the outside. This also offers in operating condition a protection against accidental or intentional damage or unauthorized electricity / water extraction.

M Technic Underfloor Distributors / Floor Pits / Hatch Pits are therefore often used in market places, in the closed area of historic buildings, industrial buildings, event centers and sports facilities to ensure due to their high plant availability, a reliable supply of power, data, fresh water and compressed air.
